Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt (optional)
Toppings: chocolate chips, sprinkles, rainbow colors, wherever your taste takes you...... add your favorite toppings.
Instructions:
In a large saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is heated through. Do not let it boil.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Pour the mixture into a large bowl and let it cool to room temperature.
Once the mixture is at room temperature, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and freeze for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, remove the bowl from the freezer and stir the mixture vigorously with a whisk or a fork. Be sure to break up any frozen chunks and mix well.
Repeat step 5 every 30 minutes for the next 2-3 hours, or until the mixture is thick and creamy.
Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until it is firm.
Serve and enjoy your homemade eggless ice cream!
Note: This method may take a bit more time and effort, but it is a great way to make ice cream without an ice cream churner. You can also add various mix-ins like chocolate chips, crushed cookies, or fruit chunks during the freezing process to add flavor and texture to your ice cream.

- 1. Use a high-fat dairy base: The higher the fat content of your ice cream base, the creamier and smoother the final product will be. Use heavy cream, whole milk, and egg yolks in your recipe to create a rich and velvety ice cream.
- 2. Avoid over-churning: Over-churning can lead to the formation of ice crystals in your ice cream. Make sure to follow the churning time recommended by your ice cream maker's instructions and don't be tempted to churn for longer than necessary.
- 3. Use a stabilizer: Adding a stabilizer, such as cornstarch or guar gum, can help prevent ice crystals from forming in your ice cream. Follow the recommended dosage for the stabilizer you are using, as adding too much can result in a gummy texture.b>
- 4. Chill your base thoroughly: Make sure your ice cream base is thoroughly chilled before churning. This will help prevent ice crystals from forming during the churning process.
- 5. Freeze your ice cream properly: Once your ice cream is churned, transfer it to a container and freeze it immediately. Make sure to press a layer of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the ice cream to prevent ice crystals from forming.
- 6. Don't skimp on the sugar: Sugar helps to lower the freezing point of ice cream, which can help prevent ice crystals from forming. Make sure to use the recommended amount of sugar in your recipe.
- By following these tips, you can create deliciously creamy ice cream without crystals.
