Eggless Vanilla Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, and mix until just combined.
Add milk and mix until the dough comes together.
Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Flatten each ball with a fork to make a crisscross pattern on the top.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
